Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar seems unperturbed by a Federal High Court ruling slamming the breaks on his 2027 presidential ambition.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC), presidential candidate stormed Kebbi State Thursday hours after Justice Peter Lifu nullified the ADC executives and all their activites aheade of the elections on January 16.
Speaking to the welcoming crowd Atiku said he would make life easy for the people by restoring petrol subsidy and ending insecurity.
“The people of Kebbi State, let me ask you a few questions. Do you want the return of subsidy? Do you want security? Do you want employment? Therefore you have no option other than the ADC. ADC is the only political party that is committed to these three objectives and more to bring about prosperity, unity and peace to the people of our country,” he said.
Speaking at the event, the Director-General of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Austin Akobundu, commended party faithful for what he described as their resistance to intimidation by the state government.
Akobundu said the 2027 general elections would be a referendum between suffering Nigerians and the Federal Government under President Tinubu.
