Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has hinted that he would likely start Vinicius Jr in their Champions League clash against AEK Athens on Wednesday.
Vini Jr’s position in the squad is under threat from Yan Diomande who has been excellent in Real Madrid’s La Liga games as the Brazilian served his four games domestic suspension.
Mourinho insisted that having lots of talents players will not be a problem for him to handle.
“We have a lot of quality players — having many players is never a problem for me, the problem is having few,” said Mourinho.
“The problem is not having options. Having many is good. Diomande is a player who can play on both wings, Brahim is a player who can play on both wings, Endrick more on the right but also on the left.
“Vini, of all of them, is the one who is best suited to play on the wing, on the left wing. We know that.”
