Ace comedian Julius Agwu has lamented how unkind life has become after undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumour in 2015.
Agwu, one of the best known Nigerian standup comedians and also carved a niche for himself in Nollywood disclosed during a chat on the Beer Parlour Talk Show on Saturday, said that after the surgery his sex organ died and he was never his good old humorous self again.
“After I do am, prick no dey work again now. He no dey work,” Agwu responded when asked by the host the effects of the surgery on his body.
He explained that during the procedure he suffered a nerve damage, which led to his condition.
Agwu tearfully revealed that he has been abandoned by friends who rolled with him when his health was buoyant.
“God wey I dey serve, anybody wey get hand for wetin happen to me. I go dey look. My friends deserted me. They stopped talking to me, many of them. It is well,” he said.
