Afrobeats superstar Damini Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy said his music director, Emmanuel Abiola-Jacobs a.k.a Manny was enjoying his life playing by not playing gospel music.
Burna Boy who was speaking at Manny’s wedding Saturday noted that playing music with his band “The Outsiders” brought Manny the luck of meeting a good wife.
He said at point Manny wanted to return to gospel music, but he stayed on with The Outsiders and now according to Burna Boy, Manny is living a good life.
“It’s the little things that piss me. have you asked them how they met? You all are just eating and drinking,” Burna Boy told the wedding guests.
“Manny, you said you wanted to dump music and go back to Jesus and Christianity? If you had quit music, would you and your wife have met?
” I have given myself thanks because this wedding would not have happened if you gave up music and went to the church clapping and praising the sky.”
