Afrobeats diva Oyinkansola Sarah, a.k.a Ayra Starr, is the headline act for the American Express halftime show at the NFL London Game.
According to the NFL in a statement posted on its website, Ayra Starr was chosen because she connected well with audiences in London and around, describing her as “generational talent.”
Ayra Starr is expected to perform during the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Arya Starr also confirmed the upcoming performance in a post shared on her official Instagram account.
“I am so excited to perform at the NFL halftime show in London. London is one of my favourite places in the world and to bring Starrgirl to the NFL global stage is a dream come true for me. I can’t wait to see you guys there!,” she wrote.
