American rap star Cardi B has complained that everything she does with her private life is always subjected to scrutiny.
Cardi B who was seen in the Paris Fashion Week and later in Venice Italy with Super Eagles said she was held to a different standard compare to other celebrities.
In an Instagram Story video, Cardi B said the attention she receives mirrors what pop star Britney Spears faced at the height of her fame.
“No cap, I’m really hip hop’s Britney Spears. I got all the tea on these celebrities… I know who’s with who and what’s doing what. But guess what? Nobody reports on it. You want to know why? Because nobody cares.”
The 33-year-old added that even minor details about her life instantly become talking points online.
“But when it comes to me… I can’t even… do anything without people talking about it. This is crazy,” she said.
Cardi B, however, said she has made peace with the downside of fame.
“You’ve got to take the good with the bad. It is what it is. People pay for this type of talk,” she noted.
The rapper and the Udinese goalkeeper were photographed together last week at a restaurant in Venice, joined by a group of friends.
Neither Cardi B nor Okoye has confirmed a romantic relationship, and no statements have been issued by their representatives.
