Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen looks good to spend another year with Turkey giants Galatasaray after he joined their squad ahead of preparations for the 2026/2027 season.
Osimhen had previously been linked with a move away from Turkey, with clubs like Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid mentioned as possible destinations, but it seems all the speculations have cooled off as Galatasaray and their star player seem to be at peace with themselves.
Osimhen was given a special leave to join the squad a few days late.
The Yellow and Reds will head to Austria for a training tour on Thursday, 23 August, where they will play two friendly matches.
Buruk’s side will face Monza in the first friendly the following day.
They will round up their tour with another friendly against Italian club Venezia on Monday, 27 July.
Osimhen played a key role in Galatasaray’s title success last season, contributing 15 goals, and five assists in 22 league appearances.
