Chioma Ajunwa Oparah...leading campaign against drug abuse and trafficking.

As the world marks the United Nations Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on June 26, top dignitaries have signed up to observe the day with the Chioma Ajunwa Foundation at the 2026 edition of the annual seminar and workshop.
The event billed to hold from 10.00am June 26 at the Police College Hall in Ikeja Lagos will have Senator Ned Nwoko as the chairman of the occasion with the deputy consul general of the German Embassy in Lagos and consul general of the People’s Republic of China as special guests of honour.
Other guests include Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe Ajeromi Efeolodun LGA chairman, The Royal Father of the day is His Majesty Eze Christian OkeChukwu, Eze Igbo I in Lagos State. The Royal Mother of the day is AIG Mrs Omolara Oloruntola, the Commandant of Police College Ikeja.
According to Olympian Chioma Ajunwa Oparah the event done in collaboration with the Federal government of Nigeria will have guest speakers from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, the Nigeria Police and other eminent speakers.
“This year’s event is fully loaded with activities and we are calling on Nigerians to fully support our efforts at preaching against the use and trafficking of illicit drugs.
“It is a big problem in our country, and we all know that it is what is fueling crime in Nigeria and in other parts of the world,” said the former Olympic long jump champion.
