Peter Okoye of the PSquare fame has told off music fans who want him to stop making music.
Okoye popularly known as Mr. P recently came up with a song, but some music fans felt that at 44 he should be leaving the stage because of his age.
A fan stated that Peter Okoye is approaching 50 and shouldn’t be doing Afrobeats music at his age.
“I don’t get why an almost 50 year old man is still singing like this. It’s okay to retire,” a fan on X social media platform @OloriOfOloris noted.
Though she was reminded that musicians who are much older than Mr. P are still making music and touring elsewhere Mr. P chimed into the argument: “After dem realize say all those narratives no hold water, dem come with another one:
‘Now he is too old to be singing and dancing.’
“Meanwhile, na the same people go celebrate and hype Usher, Beyoncé, and Chris Brown for doing exactly the same thing,”
Mr. P...still singing.
