Brighton coach Fabian Hurzeler said he expects Zadok Yohanna to make an impact on his team when Premier League rolls off for the season.
Yohanna, 18, is expected to sign a five-year contract worth about $28.8m in the coming days.
“I’m looking forward to working with Zadok,” said Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler.
“Having seen his games and his attributes, he is a player that can impact games in the final third.
“He’s still young, and will need time to adapt to the club and Premier League, but he’s an exciting player to watch and he brings the kind of creativity we know our fans will enjoy.”
The Bauchi born Ikon Allah Football Academy of Kaduna product this season has scored five goals and made four assists in 18 games for his Swedish AIK Stockholm earning high marks from football scouts who had been following his progress.
Speaking on the contract Zadok Yohanna said. ” I am very happy to join this club because I know where I came from.
“I really wanted to make my family proud and I have done that.”
