Oyo kidnapped students...traumatised while rescue seems to be far away.

Claims by Tope Fasua special adviser to President Bola Tinubu on economic affairs, that the Oyo State kidnapped students have been released has been debunked by the police.
Mr. Fasua in a now deleted Facebook social media post had stated: “In a major victory for security forces and a huge relief for families across Nigeria, all 42 students and 7 teachers abducted from schools in Oyo State’s Oriire Local Government Area on May 15 have been safely rescued in a daring joint operation early this morning.”
According to the Oyo State Police this claim is not true.
“It is unfounded, it is untrue, and it is false,” said Olayinka Ayanlade, who is spokesperson for the Oyo State Police.
“Security operatives are working tirelessly, deploying all available human and operational resources to ensure the safe rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers, their unharmed reunification with their families, and the apprehension and prosecution of all those responsible for the heinous act.”
The students some as young as two years old were snatched by bandits from different schools on May 15. For two weeks there was no official response from the Federal government, until a national outcry roused it into action this week.
