Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked to a return to Real Madrid and one player he is targeting to have if he gets the job is top striker Victor Osimhen.
According to various reports in Portugal and Spain Mourinho has already identified players who would help him make Real Madrid compete at home and in Europe and Osimhen is one of them.
The Super Eagles striker helped his Turkish Club Galatasaray to another Super Lig title and has indicated that he would love to spend another season there, however, it is uncertain whether he or Galatasaray could resist the temptation of a big money deal and a chance for Osimhen to play for one of Europe biggest clubs.
Osimhen has been linked to clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. This season in Turkey he scored 22 goals and eight in all competitions for Galatasaray who are reported to be willing to let him go if the price is right.
Osimhen is said to be worth €150 million and according to Galatasaray vice president Abdullah Kavukcu, only the club’s president and board of directors can decide to sell or not.
While at Totenham Mourinho had tried to convince Osimhen to join him, but according to reports Osimhen was not willing to be substitute striker for Harry Kaneback then. Mourinho see Osimhen like another Didier Drogba and has not hidden his admiration for him.
They both crossed paths while Mourinho was at Roma and Osimhen at Napoli and also in Turkey last season where Mourinho worked at Fenerbahce.
