Popular disc jockey Michael Babatunde a.k.a DJ Tunez has escalated his feud with Burna Boy by dissing the Afrobeats star in a London club during a performance at the weekend.
DJ Tunez an associate of Wizkid mocked Burna Boy’s song “Last Last” by muting the vocals and when the song ended, DJ Tunez muttered audibly “Rubbish.”
There was a mixture of applause in agreement and hissing in disagreement for his take on the song, many others wondered why DJ Tunez would treat Burna Boy’s song the way he did in a London Club. Burna Boy who is probably busy preparing to perform at the FIFA 2026 World Cup starting next month has yet to respond.
In April Burna Boy and DJ Tunez clashed in a Lagos Club leading to a brawl in which DJ Tunez was outnumbered by Burna Boy’s crew. Following the incident DJs Association of Nigeria temporarily suspended playing Burna Boy’s songs by its members.
