Redeemed Christian Church of God General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adegboye said God has already chosen who Nigerians will vote for in 2027.
Speaking Saturday during his Holy Ghost church service at the Redeem Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Adegboye known to have sympathy for President Bola Tinubu said no matter how hard people campaign, they cannot upstage the chosen one.
President Tinubu is facing strong opposition from the likes of Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and others who have pledged to join forces to unseat him in 2027. Tinubu had boasted that he would complete his eight years.
The 84-year-old Adegboye did not name the candidate that has been divinely anointed to be President in 2027, but he urged Nigerians to be prayerful and be watchful.
Meanwhile reacting to critics, he is a supporter of the All-Progressive Congress, Adegboye stated.
“Some people are saying RCCG is an APC church. I just smile.
“In RCCG, you will find a governor from the Peoples Democratic Party sitting down with a governor from the Labour Party, APC, and APGA. By the special help of God, we are representative of the whole nation, and that is what we will continue to be,” he said.
