Peter and Paul Okoye... till money, women and fame do them part.

Once again the talking head of the PSquare brothers Peter Okoye has taken to social media to clarify that women didn’t cause the never-ending feud between him and his twin Paul Okoye.
Peter stated in a post on X social media platform that deep seated disloyalty, greed, trust and management of their music rights caused the 20 years old rift tearing apart the brothers who once held the world spellbound with the dancing steps and music.
“Before you drag any woman into this! No woman directed or advised anyone to steal from what I worked for over the years.
“Stop pushing that narrative to suit your agenda. None of us were even married 20-something years ago when this whole betrayal and stealing started! I said what I said,” Peter Okoye wrote.
This week he posted that he was changing his birthday from November 18 to November 30, so that he wouldn’t be sharing the same birthday with Paul.
“Even if my parents were alive and supported this kind of betrayal, I’d still choose to step back, cut them off, and protect my peace. Boundaries are necessary! Blood isn’t thicker than my peace of mind.
“Now that I’ve uncovered the betrayal that has been going on for over 20 years plus, suddenly we’re blood? No… it doesn’t work like that. We are still in court,” he said.
PSquare in 2017 after disagreements over management control, finances, and creative direction, attempts to rebrand in 2021, failed because of financial transparency and control of their music catalogue.
The dispute involves the brothers and their elder brother, Jude Okoye. Jude faces prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over alleged money laundering and diversion of royalties, which he denies.
The case is before the Lagos State High Court and has been adjourned to May 15, 2026.
Meanwhile singer J Martins has appealed to the feuding brothers to reconcile their differences.
“These are my brothers for more than two decades, I still don’t understand why one will just wake up decades to change his own birthday separate from his twin brother?”
Martins urged the brothers to “fix these stuff inside our house & not bring this shame on Ndi Igbo nke anyi.”
