Anthony Joshua’s new training partner and unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk said Tyson Fury will hit the canvass if the much anticipated all British showdown sees the light of the day.
Fury returned to the ring last week with a victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov and has openly challenged Joshua to a fight, he says he has been dreaming of since becoming a heavyweight champion.
Usyk who has beaten both men believed that should the fight happen Joshua will smoke Fury.
“I believe. I look how Anthony is training. He’s a machine,” Usyk told reporters.
Also, Andy Ruiz Jr who defeated Joshua said his former foe will win.
“Well, I’ve seen AJ training with Usyk, so I think if Usyk trains him really well, maybe AJ could change, maybe his style might become a little bit different. He’ll have that dog in him.”
“I think Anthony Joshua would win. I think he could take Fury out. If he pressures him and doesn’t let Tyson Fury box around and play his little games that he wants to play, then I think Joshua could win.”
