A mentally challenged woman seen on a viral video with kids homeless on the streets of Iyana Era Lagos Badagry expressway has caught the attention of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
The Senator representing Kogi Central made an offer of a ₦500,000 reward for whoever can find the woman within three hours on Wednesday.
In the video the woman can be seen muttering unintelligent words and seem to suffer a memory loss about her identity as she held on tight to her two kids.
“₦500k for whoever locates this woman and her children within three hours today. I can’t imagine her babies sleeping out in the dangerous streets,” she wrote.
“Her last location was Iyana Era, off Lagos Badagry Expressway. Once you locate her, publish a video of you two together under this post,” she added.
The development has triggered renewed concern across social media, with Nigerians calling for swift intervention by emergency responders and the Lagos State Government to ensure the woman receives immediate medical attention and protection.
