Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi seem to be preparing himself for life after football with the release of his extended play album “More to Life” on April 9.
Iwobi revealed on his Instagram social media platform that his debut EP with nine songs will be out for the listening pleasure of fans.
On the project, Iwobi featured artists like 24am, Teniola Time, Gidi, Fido, and SPKS on the. He went solo on two of the tracks to convince his fans he was not hiding under the shadows of regular artists.
This is not his first time making music. He has previously worked with fellow footballer Chuba Akpom, who makes music as Skoli, and British rapper Ramz on a song titled Hop Out.
Iwobi continues to balance his professional football career at Fulham with his long-standing passion for music, a hobby he has nurtured since his teenage years.
Despite his attachment to music, Iwobi has proved to useful to the Super Eagles and Fulham. This season, he has scored four goals and provided three assists for Fulham in the Premier League.
His move into music shows a growing trend of footballers exploring creative interests outside sports, as he gets ready to share another side of himself with fans.
