Nigerian music artist Stanley Omah Didia a.k.a Omah Lay has made a U-turn in his quest to become a Muslim and has now reverted to Christianity.
Omah Lay in recent times have been posting materials on Islam indicating that he has embraced the religion. But the singer seem to have change returned to base. He shared an update on his Snapchat page, revealing his new direction..
“Back to the Bible. I enjoyed reading the Quran but I relate more to this,” Omah Lay wrote, hinting that he has reverted to his birth religion, Christianity.
Omah Lay rose to fame in 2020 with his hit EP Get Layd and has since become one of Nigeria’s leading voices in Afrobeats, known for songs like “Bad Influence” and “Soso.”
