President Bola Tinubu early Friday morning returned to Abuja after a two-day state visit to the UK.
Tinubu held bilateral talks with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and was later treated to dinner by King Charles at his Windsor Castle in London.
Tinubu and his wife Oluremi Tinubu arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja at about 1.45am where they were received by top government officials, including the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Among the throng of welcoming team at the aiport was comic actor Richard Abiodun Ayoyinka famously known for his role “Papa Ajasco.”
The actor, who has become a familiar face at such presidential arrivals in Lagos, was seen dancing joyfully as he joined the delegation of dignitaries on the tarmac. A few days ago he came out on social media to cry out for financial help, claiming that he was broke, since he got nothing from playing Papa Ajasco.
However, Papa Ajasco and Company producer, Wale Adenubu debunked his claims, Mr. Ayoyinka had not used the opportunities that came his way to save for the rainy day.
