US rapper and global music icon Nicki Minaj is set to drag Nigerian social media influencer and medical doctor popularly known as Dr. Penking to court for an allege cyberbullying and copyright infringement.
Nicki Minaj was enraged after Dr. Penking shared an old, provocative video of the artist on X on Saturday. “Nicki Minaj should understand that she has gotten old and should retire.”
The 45-year-old rapper warned that the Nigerian doctor had been added to an ongoing lawsuit she had already initiated.
“Do you have permission to use this video that I filmed years ago to harass me on this or any platform? You’ve just been added to the suit,” Minaj wrote.
But Dr Penking was defiant saying he was exercising his freedom of expression and would be meeting the Trinidadian born artist in court.
“Tell Nicki Minaj that My self and my team are ready and eagerly anticipating her papers,” he wrote on X.
“Freedom of speech and expression is supreme in all constitutions in the world and I have the right to express my opinion at all times.
