As Nollywood actress Regina Daniels continues with her rehabilitation from substance abuse and make full recovery from ill health, her estranged husband Senator Ned Nwoko has fired a warning to bloggers and fans spreading death rumours about the mother of his two sons.
Writing on his Instagram social media platform Monday Senator Nwoko said Regina Daniels has been traumatised the by rumours of her death.
“I want to make a sincere appeal to the public, particularly Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to please give Regina some breathing space,” Nwoko wrote.
“These things are not harmless social media engagement. Regina sees many of these posts, and they are deeply distressing. They do nothing to support her recovery, rather, they add to the burden she is already carrying.
“Let me make this very clear: I will not tolerate the deliberate spread of false information about Regina, particularly fabricated reports about her death, health or personal circumstances. Those hiding behind social media accounts to invent stories, mislead the public and exploit her situation for clicks and engagement should stop immediately
“Regina has been through a lot, more than many people may realise, and right now, what she needs most is love, support and the opportunity to recover.
“We are documenting these publications, and anyone found responsible will be held accountable through the appropriate legal channels,” he said.
Nwoko added that Regina Daniels despite their feud she remains important to him, and he is concerned about her well-being.
Regina Daniel is currently in rehab trying to recover from substance abuse. On her 25th birthday she notified her fans about her medical condition which has reduced her mobility.
