A Nigerian man identified as Goodness Sokoh, 35, will spend the next 21 years in a UK jail after being convicted of raping four teenage girls.
Sokoh who lives in Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire, allegedly lured the girls through snapchat with the offer of free vipes and ended up raping the girls between October 31-December 17, 2025. He has been standing trial since January 2026.
Messaging the girls under the username ‘GWDY_SXNGS,’ Sokoh a data analyst, offered free vapes and cannabis and then had sex with the girls in his car in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire.
He was convicted of three counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault by penetration, two counts of causing a child to watch sexual acts and one count of inciting a child into sexual activity.
During the hearing it was revealed that the girls struggled with self-harm, sleep difficulties, leaving school and feeling unsafe and suicidal thoughts.
Trial judge Catherine Tulk said while handing down the sentence: “You were grooming them so that they would trust you and put themselves into danger. You thought you could do with them whatever you wanted. Not one of them wanted to have any sexual activity with you.”
Sokoh will be eligiable for parole after serving two-third of his sentence, he has also, been registered as a sex offender with a lifetime restraining order from going near the four girls. Meanwhile the police are still investigating the case with a view of finding more victims.
