Popular Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola a.k.a DJ Cuppy, has revealed her wish to copy her billionaire father Femi Otedola’s business acumen
Writing on her LinkedIn social media platform DJ Cuppy said it was always her pleasure learning from her dad.
“Whenever Mr Femi Otedola comes to London, I MUST pick his brain! Why do I think it’s important to understand how my dad thinks? Tbh, I wish I had his brain. Genius!. Watching him grow his investment in First HoldCo Plc has taught me that business isn’t just about making money, but creating value for others,” she said.
Cuppy also stressed her admiration for her father’s confidence, explaining that he puts his money where his mouth is.
“What fascinates me even more is his confidence. He’s invested over $450 million of his own money in shares. Now that’s putting your money where your mouth is. The older I get, the more I realise that the REAL wealth is in the way he thinks. I’ll always be his student. Very happy to learn,” she added.
