President Bola Tinubu left for his usual European vacation on Sunday and would be back in late September to continue with his re-election campaign.
According to Tinubu’s information and strategy adviser Bayo Onanuga, the President will first touchdown in London, before probably going to France where he had always undergone medical checks up.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave. His first stop will be London, United Kingdom,” said Onanuga in a statement on Sunday.
“President Tinubu is expected to return home after the working vacation to join the hectic campaign for the January 2027 election.”
President Tinubu and his All-Progressive Congress flagged off their campaign for the 2027 elections on August 23, while the opposition parties are yet to get their acts.
