Lagos State commissioner for tourism, arts, culture and creative economy Toke Benson-Awoyinka has received the commendation of the O’jez entertainment group for driving entertainment and tourism to greater heights in Lagos.
Mrs. Benson-Awoyinka is the August visitor at The Forum by O’jez billed for Sunday August 30 at the O’jez Sports Lounge National Stadium Surulere Lagos. And according to the O’jez entertainment group chairman Joseph Odobeatu, Benson-Awoyinka’s exemplary leadership and exceptional contributions to the growth of tourism and the creative economy in Lagos is worth celebrating adding that she needs the support of all in the industry to achieve more success.
“Since assuming office, Benson-Awoyinka has brought renewed focus to the state’s tourism hubs, attractions and destinations, helping to strengthen Lagos’ identity as a major destination for tourists and visitors,” said Mr. Odobeatu.
The August edition of The Forum by OJEZ, themed “A Leader • An Inspiration • A Legacy,” celebrates Mrs. Benson-Awosika’s efforts to transform the tourism narrative and unlock Lagos’ cultural and creative potential.
The O’jez entertainment group said this edition promises to be one of the most spectacular celebrations as guests gather to honour a woman it believes is helping to rewrite Lagos’ tourism story.
The strictly by invitation event will start at 6.00pm and top entertainers, celebrities, Nollywood stars are expected to grace the occasion.
