Ajax Amsterdam loanee Tolu Arokodare said Super Eagles teammate Victor Osimhen and Manchester United’s captain Bruno Fernandes are two players he has on his mind.
Arokadare who was speaking to ESPN Netherlands, about his experiences so far in football said Osimhen is the best player he has ever been in a team with, while Fernandes is the best player he ever faced in a contest.
“Victor Osimhen,” the 25-year-old replied when asked to name his best player.
On the best he ever faced he added: “I’ll probably say Bruno Fernandes. He is exceptional: his mentality, his leadership, his technique, his quality and his personality off the pitch. He’s an amazing person.”
Arokodare was also asked about the best match he has watched live but opted to highlight an individual performance rather than an entire game.
“I wouldn’t say the best match, but I would say the best performance. Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick against Benin in the World Cup qualifiers when Nigeria needed to qualify for the World Cup.”
Arokodare signed for Ajax Amsterdam this summer and has scored three goals from four matches.
