Nigerian Afrobeats diva Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, a.k.a Ayra Starr, is making waves with her new album “Stargirl.”
The album ranked third on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut UK chart following its release on Aug. 14.
The album is Ayra Starr’s third studio project, following her debut album, “19 & Dangerous”, released in 2021, and sophomore album, “The Year I Turned 21”, released in 2024.
“Starrgirl,” Ayra Starr’s third studio album, features 16 tracks that draw from Afrobeats, R&B and pop, while bringing together some of the biggest names in contemporary music.
The project includes collaborations with Nigerian heavyweights Wizkid and Rema, as well as British singer ZAYN, adding an international dimension to the album’s sound.
Meanwhile Ayra Starr has received kudos from fellow artists for the remarkable feat they include Rihanna, Tems and Chlöe Bailey.
