While the family of Anambra billionaire are still waiting for updates on the kidnap of their father Joseph Ezeokafor, his daughter Blessing Ezeokafor has accused her brother Eberechukwu Ezeokafor a.k.a Jowizaza for their ordeal.
Chief Ezeokafor has spent more than a week in the captivity of unknown persons who took him while he was going for his prayers at a spiritual ground near Awka the Anambra State capital. The kidnappers had initially agreed to collect a N700m ransom but later increased it to N1.5 billion and has since cut off communications with the family.
Speaking on the family’s ordeal Blessing who is the first child of the Jezco Group chairman said it was Jowizaza’s flamboyant lifestyle that attracted the criminal gang to her father.
“Why Jowizaza my brother? You are the cause of this madness. Social media noise, when we don’t have that money. You use audio money to make hoodlums think the money is available,” she posted on Instagram.
“Imagine, N1billion? If anything happens to my dad, I will hold you responsible. Making noise, when we are owing bank N40billion. And these people think the money is there, see what your madness exposing has done to us.
“Fake life claiming what we don’t have. You are owing banks FCMB N40 billion, no hope to pay, you are owing Union Bank, you are struggling, even American company I introduced to you guys Feedco, yet you keep making noise. Now your madness has made people think we have money.”
She urged the kidnappers to release her father because the family does not have the kind of money they are asking for.
“Kidnappers they don’t have money, it is audio money, please leave my dad alone. Please release him, they are swimming in debt.”
