The Tinubu Re-election Action Group has appointed former track and field athlete and former board member of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Comrade Charles Himah as its coordinator in Delta State.
Comrade Himah a well-known figure in the Nigerian athletics circle will provide leadership for the group’s activities in Delta State and also supervision of all local government coordinators, promote grassroots mobilisation, membership expansion and implementing the policies and programmes of the national leadership of the group.
According to a letter of appointment signed by TRAG national coordinator Akinwande Oludiya and national secretary Olanrewaju Babajima Ferreira, the group enjoyed Comrade Hima to discharge his duties with great responsibility, integrity, loyalty, transparency and accountability.
TRAG has its headquarters in Abuja with Hakeem Muri- Okunola as its patron. The group is geared to towards mobilising urban and grass support towards the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking on the development Comrade Himah said he was happy to join other like minds in the pursuance of a second term for President Tinubu. He noted that the incumbent President meant well for Nigerians with his policies and he deserves a second term to ensure those policies yielded the desired result.
