Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina said his target is to score five goals in the 2026/27 Premier League campaign.
Aina who joined his teammates Monday for preparations for the new season said he would be fasting and praying to achieve the feat as a centre back or full back as the case might be with the coach.
Last season, Aina failed to find the back of the net in 28 all-competition appearances, although he provided an assist as Forest were defeated 2-1 by Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
“I need to pray and fast because I didn’t score any goals last season,” Ola Aina said on Twitch.
“The season before, I think I got three (goal involvements). I need to do some serious prayer and fasting because I need at least five. If I get five, I’ll be content.”
