Veteran Nollywood actor and film maker Fred Amata will on Sunday June 28 wear the crown at The Forum by Ojez.
Amata will be celebrated as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished screen icons, and be honored with a Special Recognition Award for his outstanding contributions to the growth of Nollywood and the Nigerian creative industry.
The event will take place at the glamorous Ojez Sports Lounge, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, beginning at 6:00 p.m., and is expected to attract a distinguished gathering of entertainment personalities, media practitioners, business leaders and guests.
Amata has remained one of the leading figures in Nollywood for over three decades. Renowned for his exceptional performances and directorial excellence, he has featured in and directed numerous award-winning productions while mentoring a new generation of actors and filmmakers. His immense contribution has earned him widespread respect as one of the industry’s true legends.
According to the management of Ojez Entertainment Group, guests should expect an evening of glamour, exciting side attractions, live entertainment and memorable moments as The Forum continues its tradition of celebrating Nigerians whose achievements have made significant impact in their respective fields.
Fred Amata joins an impressive list of distinguished personalities previously honoured by The Forum by Ojez, including broadcasting legend Prince Bisi Olatilo, comic giant, Atoyota Akpobome Ali Baba, Afro-jazz icon Yinka Davies, music copyright expert Tony Okoroji, veteran broadcasters Jacob Akinyemi Johnson, and cultural icon Yeni Kuti, among other outstanding Nigerians whose contributions continue to inspire excellence.
