Meanwhile South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has warned his compatriots who plan to “March and March” on June 30 in protest against African migrants not to destabilise the country. He said security forces have been mobilised to deal with any acts of lawlessness.
“There is no place for racism in our country, no place for sexism, for xenophobia, for Afrophobia or any other form of intolerance. Ramaphosa told parliamentarians on Thursday.
“Our security forces are ready, and those who transgress the measures we are putting in place will definitely meet the might of the law.”
