As the June 30 deadline given to African migrants by protesting South Africans to leave their country Air Peace owner Allen Onyema, has urged the Nigerians to stop investing their money in that country.
Air Peace is involved in the evacuation of over 1000 Nigerians who have registered to leave the country before the deadline, a role the airline played in 2022 when the South Africans launched similar attacks on Nigerians and other African nationals.
“These people are very lazy. They and their government tried to blame others for their foolishness. In fact, I supported Adams Oshiomole that we should retaliate. But the retaliation should be non-violent,” Onyema said while speaking on Arise TV Tuesday.
“I totally agree that there should be a stop to foolishness. The kind of retaliation I want is for Nigerians to boycott South Africa. Do you know what it means? Boycott South Africa. Don’t invest in that country.
He called on Nigerians to stop migrating to that country to do business as the South Africans have over the time shown they are hostile to foreigners.
“Leave their country. If they want to invest in our country, let them bring their money and invest. And determine how they take the money back. That is non violence action.
“What have they (South Africans) done? The shops they (Nigerians) are running, what kind of employment did you provide for him to run a shop?
“He brought money from Nigeria and opened a shop in your country to help your country and help you. The best you could have done is to learn from these Nigerians and acquire some entrepreneurial skills,” he stated.
