Afrobeats’ diva Oyinkansola Aderibigbe a.k.a Ayra Starr said life without music would have made her a redundant woman waiting for a man to grant her desires.
Ayra Star who in short spell won global recognition with music, said she sometimes sits and wonders what would have been her fate.
“If I weren’t doing music, I would literally be unemployed. I don’t even think I would be a content creator because that’s a lot of work.
“I would just be chilling in my mum’s house and eating my mum’s food, and waiting…” she told EE72 in an interview.
Ayra Starr also addressed the downsides of fame, saying she sometimes wishes fans knew less about her personal life because she tends to share too much.
“I really wish people knew less about me. Once the camera comes on, I cannot stop talking. And I feel like I overshare.”
