Alexx Ekubo’s widow expecting a baby…traditional ruler’s prayers spark excitement

Late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo’s fans are on overdrive following revelations his widow Anwuli Amakom may be expecting a child.
This development came to light following a viral video of Ekubo’s wake-keep in Arochukwu, Abia State, where the traditional ruler Eze Aro of Arochukwu offered a prayer.
During the prayers offered for the late actor, the monarch was heard expressing hope that Alexx Ekubo’s lineage would continue despite his passing.
The traditional ruler further referred to reports that the actor’s widow was pregnant and prayed that the unborn child would grow to surpass the achievements of his late father.
The remarks quickly attracted attention online, with many fans describing the development as a source of comfort amid the grief surrounding the actor’s death.
Several social media users expressed hope that the pregnancy report would prove true, saying it would preserve the legacy of the actor who was loved by millions across Nigeria and beyond.
Amakom Anwuli nor Ekubo’s family are mum on the issue.
The actor, known for his roles in numerous Nollywood productions, remained one of the most recognisable faces in the Nigerian movie industry until his passing due to terminal illness at the age of 40.
