Real Madrid president has promised to reveal the name of the top striker he plans to draft into his club next week.
Perez who is facing an election this Sunday stated that Real Madrid have the financial muscle to complete the €150m deal without blinking.
Speaking during a television appearance Pere hinted that: “I can tell you about three signings: [Jose] Mourinho, [Ibrahima] Konate, and [Denzel] Dumfries. But there will be more. On Tuesday, I’m going to make a significant offer to a top Champions League team for a great player. It would be the largest transfer fee Real Madrid has ever paid. At least 150 million.”
He dismissed speculations linking the club to Harry Kane and Erling Haaland. “It’s not Erling Haaland or Harry Kane.”
His opponent in the election, Enrique Riquelme, suggested during the week that he would be bringing Haaland to the Spanish capital, provoking a strong reaction from Manchester City.

He helped Galatasaray to reach the round of the 16 Champions League scoring seven goals and three assists. He was eight in the Champions League top scorers chart. Other top scorers in the Champions League who might as well be in Perez wish list include Julián Álvarez Atlético Madrid and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Paris Saint-Germain who both scored ten goals.
