Arsenal were crowned 2026 Premier League Champions after rivals Manchester City drew 1-1 with Bournemouth Tuesday night.
Arsenal on Monday had beaten Burnley 1-0 to go five points clear.
Before their last two games, City had Arsenal on the edge in the home stretch, but drawing against Everton and Bournemouth handed the Gunners their first title in 22 years.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Guardiola said: “On behalf of Man City and my team, congratulations to Arsenal, Mikel, all the staff, all the players and the fans for this Premier League. They deserve it.
“I am pretty sure it will be special for him, he put in a lot of effort and work. Congratulations to him.”
Next Arsenal face Paris St Germain in the final of Champions League to be played at Puskas Arena Budapest, Hungary.
The Gunners will be playing in their second final. The first and only previous occasion came in the 2005–06 season, when the Gunners lost 2–1 to FC Barcelona at the Stade de France.
