Pint size wannabe House of Rep member “Abin Al’ajabi” quits after on-line storm

Pint size Mahmud Sadis Buba who sparked a furore by declaring his candidacy for the Sabon Gari Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives Kaduna State, has quit from the race.
Buba also known as “Abin Al’ajabi” (The wonder) scaled the screening of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for House of Representatives seat for Sabon Gari, Zaria, ahead of 2027 general elections.
But people started wondering if he was qualified to run based on his size and even as he claimed to be 30 years, which is above the constitutionally required age.
Buba argued that was ready and capable to serve despite his size, which he claimed he inherited from his grandfather.
However, on Saturday Buba announced via his Facebook social media platform that he has “Voluntary Withdrawal from the Race for Sabon Gari Federal Constituency, House of Representatives.”
He noted that his decision was taken after consultations with family, political associates and party stakeholders.
“This was not an easy decision. But it was hastened by the reconciliation efforts initiated by stakeholders and leaders of our party.
“I want to thank the leader of our party, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, CON, and the leadership of the party in Kaduna State for the opportunity to have participated in the nomination process,” he said.
He urged his supporters to remain calm and support the party’s eventual candidate, adding that his withdrawal should not be seen as weakness but as a sacrifice for party unity.
“I ask my supporters to remain calm, united, and to throw their full weight behind the party’s decision and whoever emerges as the party’s candidate,” he said.
