In another case of what seem to be an extreme domestic violence, a mother was caught on video trying to stab her 15-year-old daughter to death but for the timely intervention of neighbours.
The incident occurred Wednesday in their 32 Tashoro Street, Opeki, Ayobo Road, Lagos resident. The woman could be seen holding a knife with which she used to poke the scared girl several times.
According to neighbours the woman is always in the habit of abusing the daughter, but this morning things took a different turn as she threatened to kill her. She pinned the daughter to the ground and just when she was about to deliver the fatal blow two male adults stepped in to prevent her.
The video trending on X social media platform had users calling on the police, child welfare officers to intervene before the young girl is eventually murdered in her own home by her own single mother.
