Nigeria’s Super Eagles will participate in the 2026 Unity Cup, it won in 2025, beating Ghana’s Black Stars and Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz.
The 2026 edition to be played between May 26-30 at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic FC will also feature Jamaica, India and Zimbabwe the team the Super Eagles failed to beat at Uyo Akwa Ibom State during the CAF World Cup group qualifiers. It was a costly draw, which practically doomed the Super Eagles chances. It promises to be a perfect rematch.
The Unity Cup is a premier international football tournament celebrating AfroCentric and global diaspora communities.
The 2026 tournament marks a return to South London. The Unity Cup was famously hosted at The Valley in 2004, a landmark event involving Nigeria, Jamaica and The Republic of Ireland that solidified the competition’s reputation for blending elite sport with cultural celebration.
