A mother and her six children have been kidnapped in Kurmin-Uwa in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State and taken to an unknown destination.
This is coming 24 hours after seven members of a family and three other residents were abducted in Unguwar Sabon-Titi, Katari, Kaduna.
A resident of Kagarko town, Ibrahim Shehu, confirmed the latest abduction to Daily Trust. He said the kidnapping occurred around 10:23 pm, on Friday, adding that the bandit specifically targeted the family.
He gave the names of the abducted victims, which comprised of mother and six children as Ladi Malachy, Patience Malachy, Promise Malachy, Inama Malachy, Peter Malachy and Aboyi Malachy.
A community leader said contact is yet to be established with the abductors, even as he expressed concern over continuous bandits attacks on several villages under Kagarko LGA.
The spokesman of the Kaduna state police command DSP Hassan Mansur did not respond to calls for comments.
