The presence of Victor Osimhen, other stars like Mauro Icardi and Leroy Sane has given Galatasaray a global boost.
According to the club’s vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu, Osimhen has attracted lots of Nigerian fans to pay interest in the Istanbul based side as they are actively following the Galatasaray social media platforms.
Apart from that the three players have also made impact on the club’s merchandise sales and international visibility.
“Leroy is among Galatasaray’s top three jersey sellers (along with Osimhen and Icardi),” Kavukcu told German newspaper Bild.
“Our vision is to be one of the top 10 clubs in the world. We’re taking our own merchandising company public, and we also have plans for our own café franchise chain.
“All of this is largely thanks to players like Leroy, Mauro Icardi, and Victor Osimhen, who have significantly boosted our popularity,” Kavukcu added.
