Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has debunked rumours his letter of credence was rejected by Germany, the country he was posted for his Nigerian ambassadorial role.
Fani-Kayode and Reno Omokri two notorious political jobbers were among the list of President Bola Tinubu’s ambassadorial nominations. Their listing raised a lot of dust and on Monday reports on social media stated that Fani Kayode has been rejected by Germany on the grounds of – erratic behavior, divisive ethnocentric comments, tribalistic utterances and religious fundamentalist statements.
Reacting to the repots Mr. Fani-Kayode labelled the reports as “fake news”.
“These opposition elements are so pained by my appointment and they are doing everything to discredit me and scuttle it.
“Whether they like it or not I will serve my country! Keep crying!”
