Following trademark restrictions on the use of the “Papa Ajasco” veteran actor Abiodun Ayoyinka, has revealed that he now wants to be known as “Bondu Alaska.”
Mr. Ayoyinka said to in video posted on his Instagram social media platform, that he wants to be a new person and keep on entertaining Nigerians.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, good morning, Nigerians. My name is Bondu Alaska. The one and only Bondu Alaska,” the veteran entertainer declared in the viral clip.
“I want to use this medium to thank Nigerians because they have done a lot in my life. I’m a new person now, and I promise that I will not let you down”.
Some days ago, Ayoyinka cried that he was broke because he could not use the “Papa Ajasco” brand to make financial gains for himself and he and the other actors on the comedy show were paid monies that cannot sustain them and their families.
Producer of the show Mr. Wale Adenugu debunked the claims.
Some of Ayoyinka’s fans are already reaching out to him. A man who claimed to have followed every episode of the comedy revealed on X social media platform he was gifting Ayoyinka a car and $25,000 cash reward.
“I bought this car for you with the sum of $25,000. You made me so happy. I enjoyed your movie,” he said while showcasing the vehicle intended as a gift.”
