Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle Wednesday released the list of players he invited for the international friendly matches against Iran and Jordan in the Turkish city of Antalya.
The games were oringally scheduled to hold March 27-31, 2026, in Amman the Jordanian capital city, but because of the on-going conflict between Iran and the USA, they were moved to Turkey.
Chelle picked 23 players for the trip to Antalya, they include top stars Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, Paul Onuachu, Akor Adams and Samuel Chukwueze. Top striker Victor Osmihen is conspicuously missing from the team despite residing in Turkey.
The list also featured newcomers like Philip Otele, Collins Yira Sor and Oluwasegun Fernandez.
The Super Eagles will take on Iran’s senior men football team in Antalya on Friday, 27th March (with kick off set for 4pm local time), and then the Jordan senior men national team on Tuesday, 31st March (with kick off set for 8pm local time).
