Lakuraw terror commander unleashing terror.

Gunmen suspected to be members of the Lakurawa terror group have attacked a police station in Illo town, Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday night saw the gunmen invade the community shooting sporadically and then went on to raze down the police station after moving boxes of ammunition and taking along a police officer who was on duty.
Kebbi State police spokesperson Bashar Usman said that the command received reports of the incident and had launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding it.
He noted that security operatives were currently gathering intelligence and taking steps to restore calm while strengthening security in the area.
Usman also urged residents to cooperate with security agencies by providing credible information that could help identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack.
Illo town, located near the Nigeria–Niger border, has in recent months faced rising security concerns, prompting authorities to intensify efforts to curb cross-border criminal activities in the region.
