Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her former label owner Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, a.k.a Eezee Tee are ready to settle out of court following their long dispute over royalties.
According to EeZee Conceptz managing director Nancy Nnadi, there talks facilitated by “fathers of faith” on going between the duo to put the royalty dispute behind them.
Mercy Chinwo had accused EeZee T of withholding $345,000 music royalties accruing to her and filed a case at Federal High Court Lagos in January 2025.
During the back and forth between the label owner and Mercy Chinwo she filed a defamation suit against Nancy Nnadi.
However, Nancy Nnadi in a post shared on her Instagram page over the weekend, retracted the allegations against the singer.
“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo. As well pray that Almighty God perfects ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz,” she wrote.
