Top striker Victor Osimhen will gladly stay back in Turkey with Galatasaray if there are no big offers from to European clubs before the close of the summer transfer window rather than move to Saudi Arabia.
The Super Eagles top striker turned down a €30m-a-year salary deal offered him by Saudi side Al-Hilal Thursday evening. Osimhen prefers to remain in Europe and play champions league football instead of going to the Saudi League on that salary, he wanted €36m a year, which Al-Hilal are not ready to spend on him.
But Galatasaray, it was gathered Friday has offered him a deal worth €21m, which the player is considering if the top European sides are not willing to come for him. Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are monitoring the situation with the player they love to sign, but his high wage demand remain a high hurdle to scale.
Osimhen had expressed his desire to play in the Premier League next season. He is now waiting till the end of the transfer season hoping for a major deal offer from a top European side in the champions league.
With 37 goals in all competitions for the Turkish champions., Osimhen remain a high value target, it remains to be seen which club in Europe can match his wage demands.
