Liverpool have reportedly indicated their interest to sign Atalanta and Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman.
Other clubs chasing for Lookman’s signature include Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea. According to reports by Fichajes, Liverpool are preparing a €45m bid to bring Lookman back to the Premier League.
Lookman the 2024 African Footballer of the Year is keen to return to England most especially after his coach Gian Piero Gasperini criticised him for missing a penalty in their champions League game against club Brugge.
The Super Eagles star remains Atalanta’s top performers this season with 17 goals and seven assists in 30 matches in all competitions.
Lookman’s contract will expire in 2026 with Atalanta having the option to extend his deal by an additional year.
